DOIs and URLs

In the 7th edition APA manual, Sections 9.34-9.36 all cover different aspects of DOIs and URLs. Section 9.34 discusses what a DOI and URL are, and guidelines for including them in the references list, and can be found on pp. 298-299.

Section 9.35 discusses how to format DOIs and URLs, with mention of the reference examples that utilize them in ch. 10. This information can be found on pp. 299-300.

Section 9.36 covers how to utilize a DOI or URL shortener, and can be found on p. 300.

Databases and Archive Sources are discussed in Section 9.30, which begins on pg. 296. In the reference list, it is rare to include the name of a database; it only happens in a few circumstances. For more information, please read the entire section in the APA 7th edition, which is found on pp. 296-297.
