Here are a few reminders about library services available to support faculty at Alliant.
The library website is http://library.alliant.edu and when you log in to any library service, you use your last name as username and your Alliant ID as password. While you can get to the library website through the portal, you are not required to do so - you can just bookmark the library site and go there directly. Assessments
If your course involves the use of assessments, you should check out the library’s Assessment Information Hub, located at https://alliant.libguides.com/Tests. As soon as possible, email your test request to your campus librarian and/or library@alliant.edu.
Course Reserves
The library can set up reserve materials for your course, in hard copy or digital format. To find out more, email library@alliant.edu.
Dissertation Clearance
If you are looking for information about dissertation clearance, including the Systemwide Dissertation Formatting Manual, you can find it here: http://alliant.libguides.com/LibraryClearance.
Library Instruction for Groups & Individuals

Assistance with learning how to do research at the library is provided each semester through library instruction sessions held during class time; if you would like your class to have a library instruction session, just contact library@alliant.edu
Tutorials and Quizzes to Use in Your Courses
The library has developed an APA Tutorial & Quiz that can be assigned to students. Upon successful completion, a certificate is generated, which students may submit to their instructor. The tutorial/quiz is located at https://alliant.libwizard.com/f/APA7_tutorial. If you have feedback or suggestions about how the resource could be improved, please send these to library@alliant.edu.
