I Can PsycINFO (And So Can You!): Getting Started!

This research guide will assist students locate relevant articles on their topic using the EBSCOhost PsycINFO Database & will focus on searching strategies using keywords as well as how to locate controlled language using the Thesaurus.

To access the PsycINFO database, go to the Alliant Library homepage (http://library.alliant.edu) and click the link for ‘Databases’ located under the Research section.  An Alliant ID or barcode is needed to access databases from off-campus.

 

Clicking on this link will take you to the Alliant Library’s List of Research Databases.  Scroll down until you locate the link for PsycINFO.  (PsycINFO includes full-text PsycARTICLES/PsycBOOKS/PsycCRITIQUES)
